Roll & Stroll for Everyone

A circular logo with a large tree at the center, surrounded by the text 'Roll & Stroll for Everyone.' The logo includes icons of a person in a wheelchair, a walking person, and a sun, representing accessibility and outdoor activity.

The Problem

Many people living with disabilities, long-term conditions, or caring responsibilities can feel isolated.

There are limited opportunities to meet others who understand similar experiences, share advice, or simply connect in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What We Did

Access in St Neots developed a programme of inclusive community meet-ups.

The idea had been in development for some time, inspired by conversations with local groups and community leaders, and shaped by a clear need for accessible, supportive social spaces.

We are creating a range of meet-ups to suit different needs, including:

  • Social meet-ups to connect and share experiences

  • Short walks or rolls

  • Longer walks

  • Sessions specifically for carers

  • Flexible formats based on community feedback

If there’s a need, we aim to provide it.

The Result

These meet-ups offer a welcoming space for people to:

  • Connect with others in the local community

  • Share experiences, challenges, and advice

  • Enjoy social interaction in an inclusive setting

They help reduce isolation and build a stronger, more connected community.

Why It Matters

Accessibility is not just about buildings—it’s also about connection, inclusion, and community.

Creating spaces where people feel understood and supported is just as important as removing physical barriers.
